A Glasgow man has been jailed for three years for the crime of selling a counterfeit Viagra.
The Edinburgh News reports he pleaded guilty to the crime with the court's verdict saying that he had been trying to get customers on the streets of Glasgow for the previous year.

A Georgia man was arrested and charged with two counts of introducing and using a false name, and one count of introducing and using an expired name to avoid the detection of counterfeit goods, in a recent case filed Friday.
The man, who was named in an indictment, was arrested Wednesday on three felony counts of introducing a false name, in a second, second-degree felony, and two counts of introducing an expired name into interstate commerce, the Georgia Supreme Court has heard.
In the first count of introducing a false name into interstate commerce, the man faces three years in prison, a $10,000 fine, three years supervised release and one year in federal prison. In the second count of introducing and using an expired name to avoid detection of counterfeit goods, the man faces two years in prison and a $5,000 fine. In both counts, he faces both imprisonment.

The European Commission today announced that it has suspended the sale of Viagra in Canada after it found no evidence to support it.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has made its decision to suspend the sale of the drug. The suspension is being taken as a precaution.
Viagra (sildenafil) is available in Canada for men under 18 years of age. Viagra is used to treat erectile dysfunction in men.
The decision follows a review by the EMA and has been concluded by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
